Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in facility management, preferably in a multi-site environment.
  • Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance, and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with asset management principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and tools.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Ensure facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for employees, visitors, and customers.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their space requirements and ensure effective space allocation.
  • Source, select, and manage vendors and service providers for facility-related services such as janitorial services, landscaping, security, and maintenance. Negotiate contracts, monitor performance, and ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies, including preventive maintenance programs and replacement schedules.
  • Coordinate procurement and disposal of assets in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations and communicate relevant updates to stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate safety hazards.
  • Regularly review and update safety policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and emerging risks.
  • Establish and enforce standards for cleanliness, housekeeping, and hygiene across facilities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with housekeeping protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.
