Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Responsibilities:

  • Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure proper coding to expense accounts.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for payments.
  • Assist in month-end closing and preparation of financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records and documentation.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
